Tell us a little bit about your business Regrowth.
REGROWTH was born from the desire to create memorable moments through the delivery of life-changing events, coaching, and best-in-sector tools, templates, and practices in client experience, leadership, and sustainability.
We are a consulting business that partners with our clients to impact people, performance, and purpose.
How is Regrowth unique?
All of the Directors of Regrowth have owned and operated their own business. We put the practical experience into practice. Regrowth was born from the desire to create memorable moments through the delivery of life-changing events, coaching, and best-in-sector tools to enhance client experience leadership, and purpose.
You are undoubtedly busy; how do you take care of yourself and maintain good mental health? I was diagnosed with cancer a few years ago and sometimes they say that blessings and learnings come from the greatest adversity. Cancer taught me to say NO to more things and more people, so I could say YES to the things that matter.
I have no patience or tolerance for negativity and energy vampires. Freeing up the future of those people is amazing for your mental health!
What advice would you give to the next generation of female leaders?
Stay true to yourself but in my experience, you’ll just have to work that bit harder. Treat everyone fairly, back yourself, and ask for more money if you are good at what you do.
What do you think are the biggest challenges facing female leaders today?
I have been incredibly lucky in my career that I have had good role models, male and female, and was taught from a young age what respect and resilience were but fortunate enough to also understand the importance of vulnerability, collaboration and not putting yourself in positions where your integrity would be questioned.
What’s the best piece of business advice that you have ever received?
Know your numbers, cashflow is king!
Women have long represented the archetype of the ‘juggler’. How do you balance work & life responsibilities?
You can have it all, just not at the same time.
What's one thing every woman should know about being successful in her career and life?
I don’t feel equipped to answer this. When someone has mastered this, please let me know. I am learning every day. But tell your nearest and dearest you love them every day as this is not a dress rehearsal.
What’s on the horizon for Regrowth in 2023?
We will continue to scale one too many and work on efficiencies and our partnership with RecruitRE, our other new technology platform, available in the App store. To solve problems for our customers and to pay the school fees!
