Jewellery designer Kirsty Wiggins believes in an ever-changing life balance, women supporting women and getting lost in the creative zone.

How many years have you owned your own business?

On and off for the past 20 years!

How do you balance work and life responsibilities?

That’s the million dollar question for so many of us! Be flexible. It’s all about juggling glass and rubber balls: work, family, health, friends and spirit. Balance is relative to the individual and ever changing.

What keeps you up at night?

Four teenagers!

Who inspires you and why?

OMG, there are too many… my husband, Tim, for his stamina and drive in his work. Mia Freedman, for her ability to grow such a fabulous network for women supporting women. Samantha Wills, for being able to channel creativity into entrepreneurship. Can I keep going?

What are some words of advice you would give someone wanting to start their own business?

Arm yourself with knowledge to support your business as best you can. Find a support network or circle and give it a red hot crack!

What do you love about your work?

Getting lost in the creative zone! It is an amazing escape and time out for me. Do what you love and you never work a day in your life, right?

What’s on the horizon for Dumble Collective?

Continuing to grow creatively through education and expanding business ideas. I love women joining together to support each other and their businesses. I am very open to the possibilities of where this will take me.
